Davy, Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier!!! On Saturday night the Mid-South show rolls into Crockett Mills, TN giving the pullers 2 hooks in West Tennessee. And, yes, the county was named after Davy Crockett. The county seat is even Alamo! The Crockett Mills pull is part of the West Tennessee Cotton Festival. This year is the 20th anniversary of the Cotton Festival and will be the 6th annual pull.
The 1-Day event will feature the 6,000# Super Stock, 8,000# Super Stock, 10,000# Pro Stock Tractors, and the 9,300# Super Farm Tractors. The first hook will be at 7:00PM following the National Anthem. Admission will be $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under 12.
There are quite a few pullers that call West Tennessee home. Here are some of the pullers from West TN that you may see this weekend: Joe Wamble, Ken Couch, Brian and Wade Inman, Kevin Essary, Brandy Essary Cherry, Fred Roach, David Spry, David Littlejohn, former puller Harold Finley, and the list could keep going!
