The Mid-South Pullers Association heads down to Fayetteville, TN for the fourth hook of the 2008 pulling season. The Lincoln County Fair Board will be hosting the first of two event for the 2008 season this Saturday night. The second pull will be during the Lincoln County Fair in September. The proceeds from this event will go toward renovations to the fairgrounds such as new lighting and new bathrooms. Brad Swing, promoter of this event, is hopeful that this pull will turn into a 2-day event for Fayetteville in the future.
Just like during the fair last year there is a new gate for pullers to enter at the fair. All trailer trucks are able to enter through this gate. Turn on Thornton Taylor Parkway. Turn right on Amana Avenue before Amana/Goodman plant. Go down and take a right at the end of the horse barns (Mayberry Street). Gate will be on the right at the end of barns
The Fayetteville pull will feature 4 exciting classes. The 6,000# Super Stock, 10,000# Pro Stock, 6,200# Two-Wheel Drive Trucks, 6,200# Open Four-Wheel Drive Trucks and the 9,300# Super Farm tractors will compete. Jeff Porter will be on hand with the Patriot sled to put the stop on the competition. Registration closes as 6:30PM followed by a drivers meeting @ 6:45. The first pull of the night will follow our National Anthem at 7:00.
It should be a great weekend! I hope to see you there.
