The Mid-South Pullers is headed to Lexington, Alabama the first weekend of June for the 31st annual “Heart of Dixie” championship truck and tractor pull. This June 6th and 7th the Lexington Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad will the hosting a two-day.  The event will take place at 7:00 pm sharp each night at the Lexington Motor Sports Complex.  If you want to see a great pull head on down this weekend.  Lexington knows what it takes to put on a great pull since they are the recipients of the 2004 & 2005 2-Day Pull of the Year award.      The “Heart of Dixie” 2-Day event will have 6 exciting classes each night.  The 6,000# Super Stock, 8,000# Super Stock, 6,200# Two-Wheel Drive Trucks, 6,200 # Open Modified Four-Wheel Drive trucks, 9,300# Super Farm, and the 6,000# Pro Stock Four-Wheel Drive trucks will.  The Southern Impact sled owned and operated by Sam Swann will be there to put the stop on the competition.  Pullers get there early for power & water hookups as they are limited in supply.  Registration closes as 6:30PM each night followed by a drivers meeting.  Driver introduction will occur at 6:45 followed by our National Anthem and the first hook at 7:00 PM.      Attention to all pullers, swimmers, and fishermen.  The pool is open!  And, on Saturday you can relax while you fish on the banks of Denny Ritter's stocked catfish pond.   Don't forget your rod & reel!
