On April 19th the Mid-South Pullers Association will kick off the 2008 pulling season with the Bedford County Truck and Tractor Pull in Shelbyville, TN.  Bedford County, located just 20 miles south of Murfreesboro, is known as the “Horse capital of the world”.  This will be the first MSPA sanctioned event for the Bedford County Fair Board.  Proceeds from the pull will go towards the 11th annual Bedford Count Fair that will take place this coming July 21st through the 26th.

The one-night show will feature five (5) action packed classes.  The 6SS, 8SS, 10 Pro, 93 SF, and the Open FWD truck will be featured in Shelbyville on Saturday night.  Jeff Porter, out of Lawrenceburg, TN, will be on hand to put a stop to the competition with a sled that he recently purchased from Dave Hagar.  Gates will open early in the afternoon and with your admission feel free to take a tour of the pits and get an up close look at some amazing machinery.  Adult tickets are $10.00 at the gate, children 10 & under are $5.00, children 5 and under are free.  Registration closes as 6:30PM each night followed by a drivers meeting.  Our National Anthem will be sung at 7:00 PM sharp followed by the first hook of the 2008 season.
